Fun with scraps!

When I start a new crochet project , I am always influenced by the color that I am going to use for that project. I love a colorful project! So most often I end up with a lot of scrap yarn in a the most riotous colors you can imagine.

I often tend to design granny squares using these beautiful assortment of scrap yarns!

I think of designing with scrap yarns as a diy pizza! You have a base color and then add the various colors to the base just like you would add the different toppings!

When Regina announced the Scraptastic blog hop , I was ecstatic! I jumped in head first without any doubts!

Once I had time to sit down and think of a project, I decided that I wanted a quick project that would look good with multiple colors and be put to use immediately. Thus was born the Creamfudge Headscarf!

The head scarf is easy to make and once you get into the rhythm , it practically finishes itself!

I prefer to wear a headscarf as it helps keep my flyaways in place while looking stylish:)
